Obituary of Frank C. Krause
Frank C. Krause, 79, of Freehold died Thursday, September 8, 2011 surrounded by his family at home. Mr. Krause was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and had resided in Freehold for the past 44 years.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1959.
Mr. Krause was a cost analyst for E. I. DuPont, Parlin where he was employed from 1959 to 1990.
He was a graduate of West Catholic High School and St. Joseph’s College, Class of 1954, both of Philadelphia. While serving in the military he attended the U.S. Army Language School, Monterey, California.
Mr. Krause was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold and a former high school C.C.D. teacher.
He was predeceased by a brother, Edward Krause.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Mary McMahon Krause; two sons, Frank Krause and his wife Kathryn, and John Krause; a daughter, Susan Krause; a brother, Rev. Joseph Krause, C.P.; and four grandchildren, Thomas, Megan, Kevin and Michael.
Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at the parish cemetery.
