Obituary of Donald M. Jacobs

Donald “Jake” Jacobs, 60, of New Egypt, formerly of Freehold died on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.  He was born in Neptune Township.

He was a graduate of Freehold High School.  Jake was a member of the U.S. Trotting Association.

He enjoyed training and driving standardbred horses and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Carol Dunbar; a son, Dominick Jacobs; two daughters, Dana Jacobs and Danielle Jacobs and her husband, Aaron Crooms; a brother; five sisters; his grandchildren, Jelan, Jada, Cameron, Aaron, Chastity, Ryan, and Jeleyah; and many nieces, nephews; and friends.

The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Saturday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
