Obituary of Gilberto Rivera-Hernandez

Gilberto Rivera-Hernandez, 91, of Howell Township died Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Christian Health Care Center, Wyckoff. He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and had resided in the Freehold area for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a foreman at the Washington Forge Company, Englishtown before his retirement. His wife, Luz Maria Rivera died in 1999. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Monday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
