Obituary of Sally Rooney

Sally Rooney, 74, of Farmingdale died Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. Born in East Orange, Mrs. Rooney was a resident of Farmingdale for the past 50 years. Mrs. Rooney was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena R.C. Church, Farmingdale. Surviving are her husband, Patrick Rooney; two brothers, Ed Naughton, Spring Lake, and Bill Naughton, Marlboro; two sisters, Kathleen Condon, Freehold Township, and Mary Buckley, New Egypt. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena R.C. Church, 31 Asbury Road, Farmingdale on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
